CR Fashion Book China has launched it’s fourth issue starring digitally reimagined late actress Marilyn Monroe. The CGI images are created in partnership with Web3 startup Amethyst and Authentic Brands Group, which owns Monroe’s estate. For the cover story Monroe is styled in some of todays hottest brands like Miu Miu, Fendi, Balenciaga, Thom Browne, Balmain and David Koma, in addition to garments from digital fashion houses Auroboros and Tribute Brand. In charge of styling was Gaultier Desandre Navarre, with curation from Carine Roitfeld. The eight cover images will aslo later be sold as NFT’s on Amethyst’s platform.
