Running jacket for the winter wanted? The new Zeroweight Dual Dry Waterproof Insulated Jacket by ODLO has everything you need for jogging in the cold season: It is waterproof and windproof, breathable and warms thanks to a new, extremely light fleece insulation. ISPO Award 2022 for the new Zeroweight Dual Dry Waterproof Insulated Jacket: The very lightweight, waterproof and lined running jacket convinced the jury so much that they gave it this coveted award.

From the jury's point of view, the ODLO Zeroweight Dual Dry Waterproof Insulated Jacket is an excellent winter companion for runners who brave the elements and want to indulge in their passion even in the cold season, whatever the weather. As the word "Insulated" in the jacket's name makes clear, the running jacket is lined with a warming insulating layer that is combined with a high-performance 3-layer knit construction. This lightweight fabric boasts values of 20,000 mm water column in terms of waterproofing and 50,000 mvp (g/m²/24h) in terms of breathability - all while weighing just 53 grams per square meter of fabric. To offer optimal freedom of movement, the material is also equipped with 360-degree stretch comfort. All seams are welded to protect against moisture.

The insulation consists of an extremely lightweight fleece insulation made from Teijin Frontier's OCTA material. It is 50 percent lighter than conventional fleece and provides extra warmth thanks to the hollow core fibers in the yarn. It also keeps moisture out while allowing excess water vapor to escape, contributing to waterproofness and breathability.

The new ODLO Zeroweight Dual Dry Waterproof Insulated Jacket features a sophisticated hood construction: a small peak protects against rain above the forehead, and at the back of the head the hood can be adjusted by means of an elastic band. The hem at the hips is also individually adjustable; the jackets are cut gender-specific. An inner pocket on the chest provides storage space for essentials. Reflective details ensure visibility even at dusk and in the dark.

Thanks to these features, the ODLO Zeroweight Dual Dry Waterproof Insulated Jacket scored particularly well with the ISPO Award jury in the areas of functionality, manufacturing quality, weight and material selection. The jurors also liked the fact that the product is optimally geared to the needs of ambitious runners and serves a current trend - after all, running in winter has become increasingly popular for some time now. Endurance sports strengthen the immune system even better in the cold season than in the rest of the year, because in cold weather the immune system is stimulated even more and even more immune cells are produced. The ODLO Zeroweight Dual Dry Waterproof Insulated Jacket meets all the requirements that joggers have for a running jacket for the winter. It will be available in stores from September 2022 at a retail price of EUR 290.
